(June 17, 1941 - September 13, 2016) Claude Willis Derrick, 75, of Sevierville, passed from this life to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Eva H. Derrick; his daughter, Kathy C. Derrick; daughter-in-law, Kim G. Derrick; grandsons, Shannon (Charlotte) Ivey and Brandon (Malorie) Derrick; great-grandchildren, Kandra Ivey and Bentley Derrick, his sisters, Gladys Woods and Faye Derrick, sisters-in-law, Wanda Derrick, Thelma Rainwater, Wanda (Minnis), brothers-in-law, J.C. (Marie) and Junior Hill and a host of nieces and nephews. Claude was preceded in death by his son, Rickey D. Derrick; his parents, Asa Cal and Della Fox Derrick; brothers, Parmer, Tommy, Fred (Harper) and Lonnie Derrick and two infant sisters. The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to everyone that’s reached out to the family during this time of need. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, September 15, 2016 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2016 in Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
