Darren Wilford (Dobie) Case, 48, Sevierville, passed away July 14, 2014.
Dobie was a loving fiancé, Papaw, brother and uncle. He loved fishing and hunting, but most important to him was family and friends.
Preceded in death by parents, James Howard Case Jr. and Joyce June Bell Fox; brother, James Howard Case III; and aunt, Eula Case.
Survivors include: fiancée, Maxine Anderson; sisters, Glenda D. Loveday (Danny), Marilyn Boling (Clifford), Robin Mize (Scott); in-laws, Bertie and Rita Hakey; stepchildren, Jeremy and David (Brianna) Anderson; grandchildren, Jade Hulser and William Anderson; nieces and nephews, Janice Loveday, Maria Clark (John), Carrie Alison Shrout, Chad Allen, Amanda Hill (Will), Megan and Casey Mize; great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor Watson, Julian and Isabella Riggs, Monica and Jonathan Clark, Michael, Brad, Blake and Jaycee Shrout, Ashley Greene and Donavan Allen; aunts and uncles, Bruce Case (Barbara), Bill Case, Marie Crowe, Pauline Pennington, Iris Bell, Mamie Case; special cousins, Donna Houk (Burton), Bill and Bryan Houk, Tonya Flynn (James).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Eden United Methodist Church on Flat Creek Road at 6 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Sutton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help offset funeral arrangements. Cremation services provided by McCarty Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, Sevierville, 774-2950.
