Leona Norton Cate, age 91 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest M. Cate; her parents, David and Lola Reagan Norton; sisters, Monnie Dixon, Edith Rutherford, Vera Williams and Mary Lou Manning; brothers, Gaylord Norton, Roy Norton, David Norton, James Ralph Norton
She is survived by:
Daughters: Phyllis Trotter and husband Reed McCormick , Jan Cate King and husband Allen
Grandchildren: Andy Trotter and wife Starr, Jennifer Haynes and partner, Clarissa Edwards, Kimberly Morris and husband Rob, Jon Trotter and wife Jessica
Great-grandchildren: Logan, Ethan, Alex and Cora Trotter
Sisters: Anna Ruth Naill and husband Sam
Several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Ev Robertson and Rev. Jimmy Riner officiating.
