Bonnie Ramsey Carr, age 91 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
Ms. Carr was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She loved to cook and sew and was known for her quilting. She was dedicated to her church, family and friends. One of eleven children, she is preceded in death by her parents, Minyard and Ella Ramsey. She is also preceded by her husband, John Carr; son, Jack Carr; great-granddaughter, Sarah Tarwater; and eight brothers.
Survivors include her children, Dorothy and Bob Tarwater; grandchildren, Randy and Kara Carr, Susan and Tom Atchley, Jim Tarwater, Michael Carr, John and Sheila Tarwater, Joe and Tina Tarwater; great-grandchildren, Heather and Haley Woods, Jackson Carr, Joshua, Benjamin, John Mark, Abigail, Rachel, David, Hannah, Stephen, Caleb and Daniel Tarwater; bonus great-grandchildren, Thomas, Amber, Daniel and Claire Atchley; sisters, Mae Manis and husband Vaughn, Ruby Chambers; special friends, Mildred Bales, Joyce and Steve Reed, Dorothy Arwood, and her Zion Hill Church family.
