Geneva E. McMahan Rudder, born May 8th 1927, of Jefferson City, passed away January 12, 2015. Geneva was a resident of Jefferson City Health and Rehab in Jefferson City, Tennessee and was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband Will E. Rudder; parents William Julius and Ezalee Clabough McMahan. Geneva is survived by daughter Brenda and husband Herb Hill of Jefferson City; granddaughter Robyn and husband Terry Pratt of Dandridge; grandson Scott Layman of Atlanta; great grandchildren McKenzie Pratt and Will Pratt; step-great granddaughter Brittany Pratt; sister Willie Crawford of Knoxville; brother Homer and wife Mary Lou McMahan of Knoxville; many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Jefferson City Health and Rehab and Smokey Mountain Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local humane society. Family and friends will meet Friday at Lyons View Veterans Cemetery at 9:15am for a 9:30am graveside service, Rev. Mark Clabough officiating.
