tribute in poetry:
She Loved Big Hats
When Theo Sims attended an event,
She donned a big hat, and off she went.
All her life she loved to wear hats,
She wore them with heels, and also with flats.
Her hats were always fancy and loud.
They made Theo stand out in a crowd.
Some were full price, others on sale,
She loved a hat adorned with a pretty veil.
Theo loved hats decorated with colorful blooms,
And some of her hats were accented with plumes.
A flamboyant headdress was just her style,
Wearing a hat, Theo displayed a great big smile.
Professionally, she selected the hat of a nurse,
Cared for the sick and was extremely diverse.
The hat Theo relished wearing above any other,
Was the one of a loving and devoted Mother.
She put on the hat of a woman of prayer,
Placed all her request totally in Gods care.
As a life long witness for her Savior and Lord,
Exchanging a hat for a crown is now her reward.
