SR. — age 79 of South Knoxville, entered into his eternal home Thursday, April 28, 2005 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a Deacon, Trustee, and member of Galilee Baptist Church. He was a member of the Burlington Lodge 763 and the Scottish Rite and Kerbella 32nd Degree Mason. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and all brothers and sisters. He is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Evelyn Mitchell Ogle; sons and daughters-in-law, C. J. and Sarah Ogle, Benny and Cheryl Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, and Rick Owens; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Gary Ridge, and Terri Carpenter; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Timothy Panella and Staff as well as the U.T. Hospice care. The family will receive friends Saturday April 30, 2005, 5:00 pm 8:00 pm at Galilee Baptist Church and the funeral will be Saturday 8:00 pm at Galilee Baptist Church located at 8622 Pickens Gap Road in Knoxville, TN with the Rev. Curt Franklin, Rev. Chuck Copeland, and Rev. Clyde Martin officiating. Interment will be Sunday, May 1, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Highland South Memorial Park Cemetery.
