HUFFAKER, JAMES WARNER (PAPAW) - age 80, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at the University of Tennessee Hospital. He was a faithful member of the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church on Fox Rd. in Knoxville. Member of Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 5 Union and a World War II Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Huffaker and Laura Huffaker Rutledge. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Margaret Lane Huffaker; sons, James Raymond and wife Rosemary Huffaker, Jack and Joyce Huffaker, John and Glenda Huffaker, and Glen Huffaker, all of Knoxville, Jessie Huffaker of Sevierville; daughter, Edna Kate Bohanan of Sevierville; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, also a special cousin and friend, Millard Floyd. Interment will be at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Northshore Drive on Monday, July 9, 2001 at 12 noon. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 11:45 on Monday. Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave., 588-3868, is in charge of arrangements.
