Jesse Isaac Ogle, age 86 of West Knoxville, passed away Thursday morning, November 29, 2012 at his home.
Jesse was a member of Hutson Grove Church of God in Knoxville. He was retired from Pet Dairy with 24 years of service and was a member of Teamsters Local #23. Jesse was a veteran of WWII serving with the U. S. Navy.
He was a member and past Master of Chota Masonic Lodge #352 F & AM, member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Member KCCH, Kerbella Greeters, West Knox Shrine Club and Knoxville Shrine Club and a van driver for Shriners Childrens Hospital, member of Oak Ridge Chapter OES #390, Past Royal Patron of the Atomic City Court #6 Order of the Amaranth. Jesse was a current member of Faith Masonic Lodge #756 Oak Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Estella Light Ogle; parents, Tom and Annie Bradley Ogle; sisters, Ruth Ogle and Anna Belle Harmon; brothers, Thomas Ogle, Jr. and Walter Von Ogle.
Jesse is survived by his children, sons and daughter-in-law, Conard and Carol Ogle of Knoxville, DeWayne Ogle of Oak Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Janine and Robert Burnett of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jonathan, David and Justin Ogle, Miranda Barnard and Heather Burnett; great-grandchildren, Kenneth, James and Estella Ogle, Kristen and Kenzie Ogle, Brooklyn, Gavin and Addison Barnard; brother, Cleve Ogle of Knoxville; sisters, Ruby Maples and Betty Stinnett, both of Sevierville; several nieces and nephews.
Special appreciation to Glenda Ogle and Rossie Ogle for the blessing they are and all they have done.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Jesse's grandson, Rev. David Ogle officiating. A masonic service will be included.
Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Sunday at Concord Masonic Cemetery for graveside services with full military honors conferred by the U.S. Navy and the East Tennessee State Veteran Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children c/o Kerbela Temple, 315 Mimosa Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37920.
