Cecil M. McCarter, age 94 of Sevierville passed away Saturday November 5, 2016. She attended Little Cove Baptist Church for over 80 years and was the oldest current member. Cecil loved flowers, especially yellow. She was a special mom and grandmother who welcomed everyone with a beautiful smile and a kind heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. McCarter, sons, Arthur Glenn McCarter, Donald W. McCarter, Michael A. McCarter, father, Bruce Myers, mother, Vernie Myers, grandson, Jeff Kirby, and sister, Pearl Whaley.

Daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda Johnson and husband Walter, Juanita Kirby and husband Max, Pat Stern and husband Doug

The family would like to thank Amedisys Healthcare, especially Patti, April, and Angie and all the staff at Pigeon Forge Care and Rehab.
The family will receive friends from 4:30-6:30 PM Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM. Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Wednesday in Little Cove Cemetery for interment.
