Duncan, Walter H. –age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2007. He was born December 1, 1917. Walter was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church, Knoxville and attended Antioch Baptist Church, Sevierville. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company after 32 years of service and was a member of Alcoa 25-year Club. Preceded in death by first wife, Marion E. Duncan; second wife, Bertha Duncan; brothers, Bill Duncan, Clyde Duncan, Clifford Duncan; sisters, Ella Stallings and Eula Burgin.
Survivors
Survivors include daughter, Ann Norman of Alcoa; granddaughter and husband, Kathy and Allen Chadwell of Seymour; grandson and wife, Tony and Shelly Norman of Alcoa; great-grandchildren, April and Sarah Norman; loving brother, Roy Duncan of Knoxville; three stepchildren; six step grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Service
Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday for 11:00 AM interment services, Rev. Jim Kelling officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
