Roy Earl Watson, age 91, of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at his home after a brief illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 69 years, Kitty Price Watson; parents Arthur and Lillie Watson; brothers Ray, Floyd, and Ephraim Watson; and sister Valerie Cole.

Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Davis and Rev. Melvin Carr officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Thursday in Price Cemetery for interment. Pallbearers will be Delmar Watson, Ray Watson, Jr., Mike Berrier, Brandon Berrier, Charlie Ogle, and Odell Reagan. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Watson’s Sunday School class of First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
