Lillard King England, age 86, of Knoxville, peacefully went to her Heavenly Home Saturday, October 1st, 2011.
She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a long time Member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, was also a Member of Eastern Star, Acacia Chapter No. 362, where she was installed as Worthy Matron in 1984, and retired from Knox County School Food Service.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Claiborne England; grandsons, Russell England and Jeremy England; brothers, Jack King and Tip Bohanan; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Barbara King; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Grace England.
She is survived by sons, Ronnie England and wife Kathy and Bernie England and wife Terry; by grandchildren, Daniel England and wife Felicia, Stephen England and wife Annette, Juli Thomas and husband Ryan; step-grandchildren, Amanda Carmichael, Kristin Weems and husband Luckeu; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Nicholas, Issac; step-great-grandchildren, Ramsey, Christopher and Miranda; granddaughter-in-law, Crystal England; former daughter-in-law, Joyce England Collins; sisters, Edna England and husband Paul, Grace King, Lela Helton and husband Lloyd, Hettie Boling, Cora Burden; sisters-in-law; Helen King and Dorothy Bohanan; and many other extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4th, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Highland South Memorial Funeral Home with Funeral Service to immediately follow. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, October 5th, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Highland South Memorial Cemetery.
