Mrs. Beatrice Vick Moore, age 89, of Parrottsville, passed away November 7, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Moore was born in the Fowler's Grove community where she was a member of Fowler's Grove United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated member who served the church in many capacities including church treasurer for over 50 years.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Moore; parents
Ed and Lillie (Stephenson) Vick, sisters Willie Kate Vick Allen, Nelle Vick Gibson, Flora ( Jean )Vick Wilson, Bernice and Glenna Vick.
She is survived by her daughters Joyce Moore and Vickie Moore, both of Parrottsville, brother Jim (Bobbie) Linderman of Parrottsville, nieces and nephews Annette and Sherrel Ottinger of Parrottsville, Eddie and Sue Allen of Russellville, Tom and Sandra Allen of Newport , special great-nieces and great-nephews Mike and Peggy Ottinger of Parrottsville, Cheryl Ann and Wade Lang of Spartanburg, SC, special great-great-nieces Chelsea and Alex Shapiro of Spartanburg, SC, Casie Ottinger of Parrottsville, great- nieces and nephews Tom and Elaine Allen of Newport , Chris and Alicia Allen of Knoxville, Missy and Dale Masoner of Dandridge, Todd and Sandy Allen of Newport and special friends Virginia Hill and UT Home Health and Hospice staff and volunteers. Additional survivors include a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a dedicated wife, mother and "Aunt Attie" to her immediate family. She was well loved by all who knew her.
The funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014, in the Costner -Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Jones and Chaplin Dexter Jordan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30--7:30 p.m. Sunday evening prior to the service.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2014, at Fowlers Grove Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fowler's Grove United Methodist Church or to the cemetery fund.
