Blanche K. Bible Hurley, age 86 of Newport passed away Monday, September, 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joel Bible and Warren Hurley, parents, Ernest and Jettie Etherton , brothers, John, James “Snowball”, Buddy, Carl, Junior and Fred Etherton.
She is survived by her niece Betty Coffey and husband Danny where she made her home, nephew, Randy Massey of Newport, sister and brother in law, Audrey Pat and Roy Reed of Parrottsville, sister, Wanda Mae Turner of Parrottsville sister and brother in laws, Mary and Tommy Strange of Newport, Jane and Paul Lukovics of Morristown, great nephew, Josh Strange of Newport, special little friend, Alexa “Boo” Austin of Newport, special friend, Becky Bailey and several other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the Manes Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Phillip Bailey and Rev. Fred Gregg officiating. Interment will be 10:00 am Thursday, September 6, 2007 in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
