Ruby Kate Kelly Whaley age 82 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville and a member of the Heaven Bound Singers and Triple L. Ruby was the former owner and operator of Town and Country Hair Designs for 25 years. She loved to travel and has visited 48 of the 50 states and several countries.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred L. Whaley; parents: L. E. and Nora Kelly; sisters: Mabel Howard Rose, Geneva Kelly; brothers: Kenneth Kelly, Cecil Kelly and Hobart Kelly; grandson: Joshua James Whaley

Children: Edwin Whaley and wife Cathy, Sharon Loveday and husband Jerry, Phil Whaley and wife Emily

The family will receive friends 2 - 4:15 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 4:30 PM at First Baptist Church, Sevierville with Rev. Jerry Hyder and Rev. Royce Bailey officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Monday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for interment. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
