Potters celebrate 50 years togeter Homer and Margaret (Grindstaff) Potter, of Maryville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Piney Grove Baptist Church. They request no gifts. The couple were married May 22, 1959, in Maryville. Clifford Debuty officiated. Their family includes daughters and sons-in-law, Tamra Walker, of Maryville, and the late Arthur (Art) Walker, and Kelly and Robert Simerly, of Maryville. They have two grandchildren, Jared and Kelsi Walker, of Maryville. Mr. Potter is retired from Blaine Construction. Mrs. Potter is retired as owner of Margaret's Boutique. They are members of Piney Grove Baptist Church, Chilhowee View Community Center and Lake Tansi POA.
