    Amos Ownby seems to have been very restless ... he moved many times. In 1845
    they left Sevier County, Tennessee for North Carolina, from North Carolina to
    Walker County, Georgia, then to Fulton County, Arkansas. Here in Fulton
    County, Arkansas, Amos Ownby served as a sheriff for a brief time. Later they
    moved to Reynolds County, Missouri.

    family cemetery."
