    Notes:

    In the 1850 census of District 10, Hamilton County, Illinois, Robert McTeer,
    farmer aged 46 born in Tennessee, was listed with a household which included
    Malinda McTeer aged 46 born in Virginia; their three daughters born in
    Tennessee, "Louisa" aged 11, Emily M. aged 8, Eliza J aged 4; Harvey C. McTeer
    aged 14 born in Tennessee (Robert's nephew); and Henry C. Crawford, tailor aged
    28 born in South Carolina.

    In 1880 Robert and Malinda McTeer, both aged 76 years were living in Flannigan
    Precinct,Hamilton County. Their fourteen year old grandson, Robert G. "McTeer"
    (actually Robert Gray) was living with them.

    Crabtree was listed as a farmer, whose parents were born in Tennessee. His
    household included besides his wife Eliza J. aged 34 years, nine children, five
    his by a previous marriage, two Eliza's by her previous husband (though they
    appear in the census as Cabtrees!), and two who were children of Joseph and
    Elliza. This list follows: Samuel aged 21, John aged 18, Robert aged 15,
    Alice aged 15, Iva G. aged 11, Jane aged 10, William aged 8, Clawd aged 3 and
    Eliza aged four months. All were born in Illinois.
