    Notes:

    She was a handweaver and also assisted Isaac in his chairmaking by weaving the split-oak or cornshuck seats. The oral history of her life was recorded and transcribed by her granddaughter, Linda Armstrong (larmstr1@bellsouth.net).

Her crafts are sold at the site of her home in their shop, Spinning Wheel Crafts, on the Gatlinburg, Tennessee Arts and Crafts Tour.
