    Kingsley Williams Macomber was for years a principal of the Academy at
    Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. For a time he was engaged in the silk business
    at Northampton, Massachusetts. In 1855 he settled on a farm in Cass County,
    Iowa near the site of the town of Atlantic.

    Arabella Loomis Macomber Reynolds accompianied her husband in the Civil War and
    was commisioned by Governor Richard Yates of Illinois as Major. She was known
    as "Major Belle Reynolds." She later studied and practiced medicine. She was
    residing in Santa Barbara, California in 1908.

    Professor of Physics and Librarian six years. He Published in 1876 a series of
    lectures on "Matter and Force." He practiced law in Des Moines, Iowa starting
    in 1883.
