  1. 2.  Solomon Richardson was born Abt 1700, Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts; was christened 3 Sep 1704 (son of David Richardson and Hannah Putnam); died 1761.

    Notes:

    Solomon Richardson was born in "Salem Village," afterwards incorporated as a
    part of the town of Middleton. He was a yeoman. His will is dated 2 May 1761;
    proved 6 July 1761; recorded Essex Probate Records, xxxviii, 129. This will
    gives to wife Abigail, "Dinah her maid," in the inventory valued at 40 pounds;
    "also all my household furniture, and other things which she brought with her."
    It gives to son David the testator's house and barn, and about forty acres of
    land and meadow by Cromwell's brook and Hutchinson's meadow; also to be
    executor of the will, and "to sell my negro man Frank," in the inventory
    appraised at 60 pounds, to pay debts, etc. To sons John Richardson and
    Jonathan Richardson, daughter Elizabeth Sawyer, and daughter Sarah Richardson,
    legacies are to be paid by son David. Sons Amos, Stephen, and Solomon, are to
    have the other land after the decease of the widow. The testator's
    grandchildren to have their legacy "in five years after their grandmother
    Richardson's decease."

    The real estate, as shown by the inventory, presented 14 September 1761,
    consisted of the homestead, containing about three hundred acres of land, with
    the buildings thereon; salt marsh at Lynn, about three acres; about twelve
    acres of meadow in Middleton, and about seven acres of woodland in Andover.

  1. 4.  David Richardson was born 4 Feb 1678, Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts (son of Isaac Richardson and Deborah Fuller); died 1748.

    Notes:

    David Richardson was a yeoman, and lived at Wills Hill, in what was then
    Danvers. His name occurs in a petition, with twenty-three others, dated 28
    February 1726/1727, addressed to the parish, asking for an abatement of their
    tax for the salary of Rev. Peter Clark, of Danvers, for the reason that they
    now had preaching in their own neighborhood, afterwards incorporated 20 June,
    1728, as part of Middleton.

    His will is dated 5 April 1748; proved 15 August, 1748. Inventory, forty-five
    acres of land with the buildings thereon.

    Notes:

    Isaac Richardson lived on "Richardson's Row," in the easterly part of Woburn,
    and about half a mile, more or less, from the present village of Winchester.
    His farm adjoined that of the second Ezekiel Richard, son of Theophilus. His
    will dated 28 February 1688/1689, recorded Middleton Probate Record, vii 11,
    mentions wife Deborah, son Jonathan, then under twenty-one years of age, sons
    Edward, Joseph, Benjamin, and David, all minors, and daughters Mary and
    Elizabeth. "Two eldest sisters" are mentioned, to whom Jonathan, the eldest
    son, was to pay ten pounds each when they came of age. their names do not
    appear in this connection, but they must have been Mary and Phebe. the
    testator disposes of other land, and a house then building, besides the
    homestead. He had a lot near "bare hill" -- more correctly Bear Hill -- in
    Charlestown, afterwards included in Stonham. Samuel Richardson [1556], Stephen
    Richardson [1557], and Thomas Fuller, his brother-in-law, sign as witnesses.
