| 2. | Joseph R. Crabtree was born Abt 1836, Illinois (son of William Crabtree and Mary). Notes:
In the 1880 census of Flannigan Precinct, Hamilton County, Illinois, Joseph
Crabtree was listed as a farmer, whose parents were born in Tennessee. His
household included besides his wife Eliza J. aged 34 years, nine children, five
his by a previous marriage, two Eliza's by her previous husband (though they
appear in the census as Cabtrees!), and two who were children of Joseph and
Elliza. This list follows: Samuel aged 21, John aged 18, Robert aged 15,
Alice aged 15, Iva G. aged 11, Jane aged 10, William aged 8, Clawd aged 3 and
Eliza aged four months. All were born in Illinois.
