Came to America with sister Anna in 1851 thru Paris via Sailboat to New York. Trip took one month. Then on to Philadelphia & Harrisburg PA. Later he bought a farm at La Porte Indiana. Then the family moved to 1717 Wrightwood Avenue Chicago, Illinois later changed 681 Wrightwood Avenue.
There is a Christian Wanner enlisted in "A" Co. MN Hatch's Battn Cavalry Union Army on 6/28/63 as a Private and was Mustered Out on 6/5/66.
Lived in Chicago Illinois for over sixty one years.
