    Notes:

    Casper Cable was fighting as a Hessian Trooper with the English at the Battle of Trenton. He was captured by the troops of General Washington. Although there is no record of how he was rejoined with his English unit, he was later shipped south to be engaged in the Battle of Charleston. Soon after this engagement, Cable, along with a few of his friends crept away from the British at night and they joined the Colonial Army. He wed Elizabeth Baker and they eventually moved from Boone, North Carolina to Carter County, Tn.
