    Notes:

Peter was a member of the Salem Village church, to which his wife Sarah was
admitted as a member in 1690. Peter Cloyce was a member of the anti-Parris
group. He had served as one of Salem's representatives to the General Court in
1689, as had his good friend Daniel Andrew. In 1692 both men were elected
selectmen of Salem. His anti-Parris sympathies and his election as a selectman
were ample reason for the conspiracy to accuse his wife, Sarah of witchcraft.

Called an ecclesiastical council to investigate the handling of the witch
    trials of 1692.
