Henry Bohannon was born 1760 in Halifax County, VA and died about 1842 in Sevier County, TN. He served as a private in the Revolutionary War commanded by Captain Robert Boling.

Listed are 11 generations of 5732 known descendants (9000 if you include spouses) of Henry Bohannon, most who migrated to the Smoky Mountains.

Marc Embry is looking for a connection to the Henry Bohannon line. He is a descendant of a Bohanon who married a Mary J. born March 1822 in TN and died after 1900. They had a Susan P. Bohanan born April 1840 in TN died about 1923 in Anna, IL and married Able W. Robinson.

Jami Hamilton is a descendant of William Bohanan born 1760/1790. He came from the Mosholetubbe District in MS in 1832 and had William Jr., Silas, Joshua, John, Susan and possibly another daughter who married a Pusley. Susan was born 12 May 1809 in MS. No known connection with Henry Bohannon has been identified.

Sim Seckbach is a Henry Bohannon descendant through William Thomas and Sarah E. (Bohanon) Ogle.
