1		Back of photo includes date March 24, 1945 which appears original. Underneath is later written in pencil "Stanley & Edith Gingrich" which must be in error because Stanley married Gertrude and Edith was Stanley's sister. Thus the bride is either Edith or the groom is Stanley.

4		Dear Esther, That you would like this picture taken 6 mo before I lost my mother (1949), all of us girls are well except Erna - who has cancer, but holding up well, Like you & Ruth we keep busy, but I am a little overweight. Have a nice birthday & keep well. When I have a recent picture will send it to you. Love, Emma
