WHALEY, MARGARET E., 82, Rockford, died Feb. 17, at Baptist Hospital.
Survivors: husband, Roy W. Whaley, Rockford; children, Charles Roe, Arizona, Bill Roe, Ohio, Cathy Shafer, Pennsylvania; stepchildren, Doris Branch, Sevierville, Danny Whaley, Sevierville, Dwayne Whaley, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Dennis Whaley, Maryville; sister, Dorothy Clinton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rawlings Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Margaret E. Whaley, 82, of Rockford, Tenn., died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee.She was a member of Maples Branch Baptist Church and Woodsmen of the World.She is survived by her husband, Roy W. Whaley of Rockford; children, Charles Roe of Arizona, Bill Roe of Strongsville, Ohio, and Cathy Shafer of Pennsylvania; stepchildren, Doris Branch and husband, Manson, of Sevierville, Danny Whaley and wife, Patricia, of Sevierville, Dwayne Whaley of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Dennis Whaley and wife, Amy, of Maryville; sister, Dorothy Clinton of Strongsville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Andy Ball and the Rev. Terry Gossett officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
