Mrs. Edith Caton Mussard, age 83, of Taylorsville, GA, died Sunday, January 11, 2004, at her home. She was born October 22, 1920, in Sevier County, a daughter of William Ambrose and Maude Trentham Wilson. She was a homemaker, a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cartersville, GA VFW, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, and a member of the Christian Women’s Missionary Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Clarence E. Caton, brothers, Lawrence Wilson, James Wilson, and Boyd Wilson, and sisters, Mildred Hannon and Verla Whaley.

Daughter: Kathy Lynn Caton Vaughn
Grandchildren: Jeanne Marie Caton, Emily Caton McClain, Elaine Caton Sosebee, Serena Vaughn Kellum, and Kathleen Vaughn

Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment 10 AM Thursday in Middle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
