Cooper, James D. (Jim) age 73 of Seymour Tn passed away peacefully Friday, February 13 2009. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Seymour. Mr. Cooper was a retired truck driver. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Una Cooper and brothers, Max and Delmer Cooper.
Survivors
Survived by wife of 51yrs. Lula Mae; children, Kaye (Rickey) Turner, Jamie (Dan) Snyder and Harry (Karen) Geilenkirchen. Grandchildren, Kayla (Jeremy)Lowe, Kimberly (Craig) Gowan, Natalie, Erica, and Holly Snyder and 4 Great grandchildren; sisters, Alden (Ray) Douglas, Merle Darnell, Dorothy Hatcher; brothers, Rex and Howard Cooper. Several nieces and nephews.
Service
The family will receive friends Monday, February 16, 2009 from 5-8 pm at the Berry Funeral Home Chapel with a Masonic service to follow at 8 pm. Family and friends will meet at 1 pm Tuesday, February 17th at Grace Baptist Church off Boyd’s Creek Highway in Seymour, TN to celebrate James’ life. Rev Mike Vincent, Rev Ed Cloud, Rev Richard Young, Rev Arthur Pedigo officiating. Interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery.
