WAGNER, AGNES HODGES - age 90, died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, March 4, 2011. She was born October, 14, 1920. Agnes was an inspiring angel in our lives; she always had our best interests in her heart. As a young woman she attended Knoxville Business College. After graduation she was employed by TVA where she met her husband Pat Wagner to whom she was married for 56 years when he passed away. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Patton Wagner, Sr.; her mother Anna Mae Hodges and father Edmond Hodges. Agnes will be sorely missed by her children Joseph Wagner, Jr. and wife Margaret and Suzanne Wagner Hughes and husband Sam; grandchildren: Kimberly Lane, Patricia Murphy, Daniel Verges, Jay Wagner, and Michael Verges; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at 11 am Tuesday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a Graveside Service with Rev. Andy Holt officiating.
