Crisp, Jeffery Harrison, age 47, entered into the presence of the majesty of God. He bore witness to the throne room of God, giving his friends and family a glimpse of heavenly realms in the days before his departure. Jeff is a longtime servant of God, currently serving Springview Baptist Church as their Minister of Youth. Blessed with a beautiful bass voice, Jeff sang with the Kingdom Heirs and Prophets Quartets. Former pastor of several area churches, Elder at Parkway Christian Fellowship. Jeff proudly served his country in the U. S. Army and U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Crisp; grandparents, Niles and Hazel Harrison, Fred and Mabel Crisp.
Survivors include his wife, Lori (Downey); children, Adam, Cayce and Jesse; mother, Clara Crisp; brother and wife, Brian and Lesa Crisp; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Caleb and Anna Crisp, Taylor and Justus Bell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Buddy and Peggy Downey; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; brother-in-law and wife, Toby and Julie Downey; sister-in-law, Lisa Bell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J. Tod Zeiger officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
In lieu of flowers, funds can be donated to a fund for Jeff's Childrens Education Fund, c/o Embassy Christian Center, 2505 Old Niles Ferry, Maryville, TN 37803. Please make checks payable to Embassy Christian Center.
