Abbott-Davis engagement
Rachel Eryn Abbott, daughter of Don and Joy Abbott Jr., of Maryville, is engaged to marry John Paul Davis IV, son of John and Rhonda Davis III, of Maryville, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 17. Invitations will be sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Wes and Janice Eldridge, of Maryville, and Don and Laura Abbott Sr., of Maryville.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Fred and Linda Giles, of Maryville, Ruth Davis, of Walland, and the late John Paul Davis Jr.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Heritage High School and of Blount Memorial Hospital’s LPN program. She is working at Trinity Medical Associates.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of Seymour High School and received an associate degree in business/agriculture from Walters State Community College. He is employed by Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
