Beulah Ramsey Shoemaker, of Newport, died Friday morning at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Shoemaker; parents, Garfield and Eula Ramsey; brother, Herbert Ramsey; and sister, Ina Mae Mason. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tony Sawyer of Granger, Indiana; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Susan Shoemaker of Lenoir City and George and Cheryl Shoemaker of Newport; grandchildren, Amy and Brandon Shoemaker, Jared Sawyer, and Lindsey and Lauren Shoemaker; sisters, Betty Green, Barbara Russell and Christine Mason of Newport, and Mary Oma Holt of Crossville; and brothers, Thomas, George and James Ramsey, all of Newport. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Manes Funeral Chapel with Rev. Adam Sanders and Rev. Tom Mooty officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery. Manes Funeral Home, Newport, was in charge.
