Harold Clifford Shults, age 76, of Tuscaloosa, went home to be with his Savior on February 19, 2007. Services will be Thursday, February 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Church of God with Rev. Marcus Little and Rev. Ken Andrews presiding. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Wheeler and Hallie Shults; sisters, Annie Shults and Tressie Smith; brothers, Floyd Shults and Homer Shults; and daughter, Lisa Michelle Shults.
Harold is survived by his wife, Peggy Shults; a daughter, Delores Simmons (James); sons, Clifford Shults (Jane), Ralph Shults (Sadie), Michael Shults (Stephanie), Ricky Shults (Laura); Grandchildren, Kelly Kemp (Brian), Nicole Shults, Ashley Kircharr (Ricky), Patrick Simmons, Samuel Shults, Joseph Shults, Reagan Shults and Riley Shults; Great Grandchildren, Garrett Wilson, Peyton Kemp and Raiden Kircharr; a sister, Nellie Wells (Raymond) of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; brothers, Harry Shults (Shirley) of Leoma, Tenn., Bernard Shults of Etheridge, Tenn. and Wilburn Shults (Violet) of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; and many other loving family members.
Born in Leoma, Tenn., Harold moved his family to Tuscaloosa in 1964. Harold worked as a truck driver for Central Foundry from the early 1960’s until the 1980’s when he began working for Miller Transporters until his retirement. After retirement, Harold loved to travel with his wife and share with her much of the country that he had visited in all of his years traveling the United States. Harold was an avid fisherman and loved to work in his yard and vegetable garden. He was very proud of his family and especially proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Smith, Alfred Smith, Jamie Vestal, Reed Riley, Raymond Taylor and Greg Prine.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray and Janet Keeton, Thomas Findley, Circlewood friends, friends of Tuscaloosa Church of God, friends of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, former coworkers of Central Foundry and Miller Transporters and the staff of Forest Manor.
The Shults family is very grateful for the loving care and support given to Harold in his final days by the staff of DCH.
