Charlie Greer Johnson, 65, of 200 Spring Garden St. died Saturday, March 21, 1992, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Manes Funeral Home in New Port, Tenn. Burial will be Monday at the Allen's Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Cocke County, Tenn. A native of Cocke County, Tenn., he was employed in the furniture industry for most of his life. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Charlene Gonneville of High Point, Mrs. Wanda Howington of Trinity, Mrs. Jo Ann Lones of Burlington; son, Chuckey Johnson of Thomasville; sister, Mrs. Jessa Allen of New Port, Tenn.; brothers, Enos Johnson of Gatlinburg, Tenn., Oris Johnson of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Elbert Johnson of High Point; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Harold C. Davis Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Manes Funeral Home in New Port, Tenn. is in charge of arrangements.
