David Harrison Stinnett, 66 of Tunnel Hill, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 2, 2008.
Mr. Stinnett was born March 7, 1942, in Cleveland, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Casewell and Pauline Marcum Stinnett; brother, Mack Stinnett; sisters, Maudie Northrope, and Ida Shield; grandson, Seth Stinnett.
Survivors include his wife Bettye Stinnett of the residence; children, Dana and Steven Hanning of Harrison, Tenn., Michele Ledford of Georgetown, Tenn., Susan McNeely of Cleveland, Tenn., Jennifer and Jeff Kirkland of Calhoun, David Stinnett Jr. and Brandon Stinnett, both of Pahrump, Nev., Joshua Stinnett of Arizona; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loraine and Ray Vineyard of Dalton, Edith Thompson of Dalton and Barbara and Ray Coffee of Cohutta; brother, Lloyd Stinnett of Athens, Tenn.; grandchildren, Dusty and Dianna Morris of Biloxi, Miss., Megan and Cordell Blaylock of Georgetown, Tenn., Faith Hanning of Harrison, Tenn., and Grant Kirkland of Calhoun; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Morris of Biloxi, Miss.; special friend, Ken Manis; nieces and nephews.
The funeral is Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Hare officiating. Pallbearers will be Ken Manis, Brandon Stinnett, David Stinnett, Scott Gribble, and Randy Warren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 till 9 p.m.

Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens with a white dove release concluding the service.
