MORTON, DALLIE K. MONROE - age 79 of Powell, went to be with her Lord & Savior March 6, 2003 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital celebrating life & homecoming. She is a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday school class. Preceded in death by husband, Allie Monroe son, Chester parents, Lawrence E. & Dovie Turner Keck brothers, Roscoe, Esker, Joe & Sherman sister, Beulah. Survived by children & spouses, Lester & Wilma Monroe of Knoxville, Marilyn & Bruce Annis of Ariz., and Judy & Jim Chandley of Hendersonville, NC grandchildren, Gregory & Cheryl Lynn Monroe of Knoxville, Gary & Amanda Latham of Knoxville, Melissa & Eric Weaver of Charlotte, NC, Lisa & Alan Brookshire of Hendersonville, NC and Heather & Scott Story of Knoxville great grandchildren, Andrew Monroe, Grayson, Colton & Isabella Brookshire, on the way, Thomas Allen brothers, Proctor & R.D. Keck sisters, Agnes Emert, Rebin Whaley & Ella Bumgardner all of Knoxville. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 p.m. Rev. David Stooksbury officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Lynch Bethel Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers: Ray Bridges, Dana Foust, Clay Reagan, Dennis Keck, Sam Wilkinson & David Graham. Honorary pallbearers: Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
