DUNCAN, JACK - of Knoxville, formerly of Anderson County, died Sunday, April 4, 1999. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville. He was also a member of Masonic Crystal Lodge for more than 50 years in Briceville, TN. He retired from Union Carbide's K-25 Plant in 1981 where he was employed for 31 years. He is survived by wife, Helen; daughter, Patricia Duncan of Lake City; grandson, Barry Lay Duncan of Knoxville; stepsons, Dr. and Mrs. David
Trentham of Boston, Mass., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Trentham of Nashville; stepdaughter, Miss Jenny Trentham of Nashville and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Thursday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service with Dr. David W. Hull and Rev. Dixie Petrey officiating. The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church of Knoxville Refurbishing Fund, 510 W. Main St., Knoxville, TN 37902 or to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends 4:30-6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
