NINE, MRS. JONI LOUISE - 68, beloved wife of Owen Nine, entered into rest on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2003 at 3:00 PM at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Marty Baker officiating. Mrs. Nine was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on August 9, 1935 and later moved to Augusta to assist her husband in their family owned business. She was a member of Curtis Baptist Church. She loved beautiful flowers and gardens and her favorite past time was spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Nine is survived by her two sons and daughters in law, Mark Nine and his wife, Toodie, and Paul Nine and his wife, Kaye, all of Martinez, a daughter and son in law, Diana Nine and husband Sid Milsaps, of Knoxville, TN., her mother, Mildred A. Pinkston, of Knoxville, TN. three granddaughters, Cristy Nine of Charlotte, NC, Jennifer Jenkins of Martinez, and Kennedy Nine of Martinez two great granddaughters, Bailey and Riley Jenkins of Martinez a sister, Barbara R. Pinkston and two brothers, Paul H. Pinkston, Jr., and Howard E. Pinkston, all of Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul H. Pinkston, Sr. Pallbearers will be Marty Todd, Tommy Taylor, Howard Dye, Jason Jenkins, Pepper Ellison, and Robert Ellison. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, October 17, 2003 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Platt's Funeral Home, 721 Crawford Avenue, Augusta, Ga.
