HARRIS, GLENN V. "TRAIL GUNNER" - age 85, of Maryville, passed away Monday morning, December 18, 2000, at the family home. He was of the Baptist faith; retired from ALCOA and member of the 25 Year Club; Veteran of the US Army. Preceded in death by wife, Aleene Harris; parents, Ellis and Beatrice Harris; brothers, James E. and Jack Harris. Survivors: son, James P. Harris of Mt. Ida, Arkansas; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Linda Harris of Old Town, Florida; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Odell and Anna Fife of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Bill Gaddis of Maryville, Pat and Ronnie Weeks of Shreveport, Louisiana, Brenda and Don Hall of Maryville, Jean & Duain Tipton of Maryville; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Mae Fuller of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Tommy Covington of Maryville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Polly and Clyde Gregory of Alcoa; close friends, George and Virginia Rimel, Ed Rimel and Steve Millsaps, all of Maryville. Funeral service 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2000, Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Greg Daniels officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clark's Grove Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
