Tolson, age 42 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday June 26, 2008 at Sevier County Health Care after a lengthy illness. Preceding him in death are his father: Benny Tolson; brother: Thomas Edward Tolson; and niece: Kayla Tolson. Survivors include his wife: Jillion Tolson; mother: Joann Tolson; daughters: Terri Saum, Jacklin Beach-Dodd, Elizabeth, and Cassandra Tolson; sons: George Tolson Jr.,and Robert Beach; sisters: Debbie Kidd, Rhonda Carr, and Gina Hibbard; brother: Benny Tolson; 9 grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Rawlings Funeral Home with memorial services beginning at 2:00 PM with the Reverend F. Byron Chambers officiating. In keeping with his wishes, George was cremated.
