Robert “Bob” C. Whitehead, age 69 of Louisville formerly of Sevier County, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011. He was a former employee of Electro-Voice and was currently employed by Family Inn on Alcoa Hwy. Bob was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Judson Whitehead mother, Gladys Whitehead Hill, step-father, Frank Hill; brothers, John and Charles Whitehead; and longtime friend, Mac Wright.
Survivors include his Son: Robby Whitehead; Sisters: Colleen Graves McCall, Judy Rains and husband Carl; Sisters-in-law, Dorothy Whitehead and Mary Lois Whitehead Rimmer; Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; Step-sister: Barbara Hodge and husband N.M. Hodge; Beloved pet and companion: “Little Bit”; Many special friends
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Walnut Grove Cemetery Fund, c/o David Banks, 293 Red Bud Lane, Sevierville, Tennessee 37876.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Lane and Rev. Curtis Wells officiating.
