Cummings, age 87, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Asbury Place at Maryville. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hubert Cummings; sons, James Lloyd Cummings and William Mayford Cummings; parents, James and Miranda Mathews; three brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her children and in-laws, Danny and Vicky Cummings, Dennis and Connie Cummings, Donald and Cathy Cummings, Clifford Cummings, John and Maggie Cummings, and Linda Gail and Donnie Phillips; sister, Lela Webb; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends will gather 11:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Roberts UMC Cemetery in Sevierville for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Charlie Carpenter officiating.
