He was a member of Alder Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by daughter, Mary Anne Moore. Survivors: wife, Marie Johnson; son, David Johnson of Seymour; daughter, Susan Hayman of Elmer, New Jersey; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Joseph Johnson of Newport. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Justus officiating. Interment to follow in Alder Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home. Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, is in charge.
