McNUTT, SIDNEY P. "SID" - age 70, of South Knoxville, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2001, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Charter member of Burnett's Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Sid has been in the funeral business since he was 13 years old and retired 2 months ago from Weaver Funeral Home, after 37 years of service. He was a very dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and employee and will be missed by all. Survived by loving wife of 49 years, Imogene G. McNutt; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Maria McNutt; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Sam Hance and Debbie and Ron Lewelling; precious granddaughter, Azure Hance; brothers, Lee, Ben Jr., Gene and Bob McNutt; sister, Mary Ruth Dowdle, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 p.m., Revs. Jimmy Miller and Dewey Cooper officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Weaver's to proceed to Highland South Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers: Buddy Mayes, Oscar Williams, Fred Daniels, Jim Blankenbeckler, Wes Waggoner, & Ric Hensley. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave., 588-3868.
