She was born Dec. 23, 1920 in Knox County, a member of Pigeon Forge Community Chapel, and retired from Dollywood. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Hellard; daughters, Minnie Rebecca Lonas and Jeanette Maxine Chadwick; son, Wilson M. Lonas, Jr.; and sister, Johnnie Conaster. Survivors: Loving husband of 65 years, Rev. Wilson M. Lonas, Sr. Sons; John Lonas and wife Barbara, Sam Lonas and wife Sheree Daughter-in-law; Carolyn Lonas Son-in-law; James Chadwick Grandchildren; Robin Lonas Fox, Pam McCowan, Suzanne Fox, Timothy Lonas, Chris Lonas, Brian Lonas, Terry Lonas, James Chadwick, Teresa Buchanan, Shane Lonas, and Shauna Lonas 16 Great grandchildren Sisters; Margaret Keeling, Glenna Keck, and Barbara Farmer Half-sisters; Bea Ward and Cynthia Harb Half-Brother; John Turner Hellard Step-brothers; Franklin Landreth and Gordon Landreth Step-sister; Ruth Byrd Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The Lonas family would like to say a very special thank-you to all the employees of Sevier County Health Care Center, especially the West Wing for their kindness and care given to Kathy in her stay at the center. Funeral service 7 PM Saturday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Rev. Lee Fox and Rev. Jeff Ownby officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pallbearers Timothy Lonas, J. B. Perault, Brian Lonas, Chris Lonas, Shane Lonas and James W. Chadwick. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN. 37865.
