SONYA D. - age 31, of Halls, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, January 4, 1999 at 7 p.m. She was at her home. Member of Grace Full Gospel Baptist Church, Union County. She will be sadly missed by survivors: husband, Randy Rash ; daughter, Samantha Rash ; mother, Phillis Gibson; father, Ray McCarter; brothers, Ray McCarter and Zebadiah Saunders. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Full Gospel Baptist Church off Tazewell Pike on Ashley Ln. Funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. at the church with Rev. Chris Daugherty and Rev. Johnny Edwards officiating. Interment Friday in Holly Hills Cemetery on Chapman Highway. Cousins will serve as Pallbearers. Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville, in charge of arrangements.
