James E. Lindsey, age 93 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Regency Assisted Living in Morristown. He was a member of Holston Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Lindsey was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Amanda Lindsey, parents Otha and Pearlie Lindsey, brother Ralph Lindsey, and sisters Lyda Kerr and Anah Bowers.

Funeral service 7 PM Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Eledge officiating. Interment 11 AM Wednesday in Providence Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #104. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
